Nitte (Udupi dt.) March 23 To become a business leader it is necessary to be a truth teller, according to Prof P.V. Ramana, Chairman of ITM Business School, Navi Mumbai. Inaugurating `Ettin-07', the national-level business school festival organised by the Justice K.S. Hegde Institute of Management at Nitte in Udupi district on Friday, Prof Ramana said that the companies and business need truth tellers. Some of the Indian companies are thriving today only because of this quality of their employees and executives, he said. Truth at all levels helps the company to know the selling ideas faster. This will help the company grow faster in the market, Prof Ramana said. Presiding over the function, Dr N.K. Thingalaya, Chairman of the Academic Council of the Justice K.S. Hegde Institute of Management, said that the events like `Ettin' help in bringing out the innovativeness among students. "Innovate in your respective fields as it helps you succeed," he said. Mr Vishal Hegde, Director of Nitte Education Trust, said that the knowledge economy would help the country to grow in a big way. In such a situation, management graduates play an important role. Dr M.S. Moodithaya, Director of the institute, welcomed the gathering.
