SriLankan promotional offer on Net booking

Thiruvananthapuram March 22 SriLankan Airlines has announced a special promotional offer on Internet bookings on flights from India to three European destinations.

Passengers buying tickets through the airline's Web site can fly from nine Indian cities to London, Paris or Frankfurt for a special return fare of Rs 17,000 plus taxes, said Ms Asha Subramanian, Sales Manager-Thiruvananthapuram, SriLankan Airlines.

The nine cities are Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kozhikode, Kochi, Mumbai, New Delhi, Tiruchi and Thiruvananthapuram. The `Internet bookings only' offer is valid on all bookings made between March 20 and April 10 for travel between May 1 and June 30, she added.

Passengers with an internationally valid Visa or MasterCard can book tickets for themselves and their immediate family at www.srilankan.aero. However, the credit card holder must be a member of the travelling party. Changes in the date of travel can be made at the rate of Rs 1,000 per passenger for travel within the promotional period, she added.

According to a press release from the airline, passengers flying on SriLankan can also pre-book their onboard duty-free purchases on the airline's Web site. The online catalogue offers the entire range of products available on its flights including perfumes, jewellery, spirits, wines and so on, the release added.
