SRM ties up with Harvard, Oxford

SRM University has tied up with Harvard School of Public Health and Oxford University to set up a `School of Public Health'. According to a press release, the school will offer a Masters Programme in Public Health focusing mainly on research methodologies and Biostatistics. It will also provide access to the latest developments in the field of Public Health.

The programme is expected to cater to the growing demand for public health professionals amongst international agencies, multinationals, public and private health systems and research institutions, the release said. The programme will commence this academic year (2007-08) and graduates in any discipline are eligible to apply.
