South Indian implements CBS

Bangalore, March 25

The private-sector South Indian Bank implemented the core banking solution (CBS) in all 475 branches in the country. The bank has used the banking software of Infosys — Finacle — as its CBS. Its other CBS partners were Wipro and HCL. With the completion of the CBS implementation on Saturday, South Indian Bank's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Dr V.A. Joseph, said that the bank was now in a position to offer a whole suite of banking products to customers across the country.
