KC Jena elected as CILT Chairman

New Delhi March 26 Mr KC Jena, Member (Staff), Railway Board, has been elected as National Chairman of Chartered Institute of Logistics Transport - India (CILT-India) at its meeting held in New Delhi.

CILT-India is part of the organisation headquartered in London. The overall objective of CILT is to improve logistics and transportation in all modes such as roads, railways, shipping and civil aviation, said an official release.

CILT will be holding its first conference in June on movement of rail container trains. The conference would focus on streamlining the operations taking into account the problems and difficulties that the new container operators are likely to face.
