Mr N. Reguraj, Managing Director, NTTF Industries Ltd, was elected Chairman of CII Karnataka for 2007-08. Mr Reguraj takes over the responsibility from Mr S Gopalakrishnan (Kris), President, COO & Joint Managing Director, Infosys Technologies Ltd.

Mr S.Viswanathan, Managing Director of John Fowler India (P) Ltd, becomes the Vice-Chairman of CII. Mr Reguraj is a Trustee & Vice Chairman for the Workshop for Rehabilitation & Training of the Physically Handicapped, Vellore (WORTH) and Charter President, Tool & Gauge Manufacturers Association of India (TAGMA). Mr Viswanathan is also on the board of a few companies. He has worked abroad as well as in India, including in Tata Steel at its headquarters.
