In line with its rapid branch expansion plans across the country, SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd today announced the formal opening of its branch in Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh.

The company now has 10 branch offices in Andhra Pradesh. While inaugurating the new branch, Mr Rajiv Gupta, Country Business Head- Retail & Corporate Agency, SBI Life Insurance, said: "Andhra Pradesh is a high priority State for us and is currently one of the top performing States in the country."

The new branch will act as a one-stop-shop for providing all Life Insurance solutions to the customers and servicing centres for existing and new policyholders, assisting them with various policy-related queries, procedures, documentation etc.

SBI Life has been on an extensive growth path and its insurance solutions have met an excellent response across the State of Andhra Pradesh. With a strong field force of more than 2,400 insurance advisors, the new business premiums registered from the State YTD (yield to day) during the current fiscal till February 2007 is Rs 59 crore.
