Bank officers for regulated working hours

Our Bureau

Kochi March 27 The All Indian Bank Officers Association (AIBOA) has decided to launch action programmes in the country for regulated working hours. This is as per the decision of the Silver Jubilee Conference of AIBOA held at New Delhi, Mr R.J. Sreedharan, All-India General Secretary said.

Speaking on the occasion of the foundation conference of Union Bank Officer Staff Association (Kerala) here, he said that bank employees, especially officers, are experiencing massive work pressure and there is no system of regulated working hours for them since the initiation of economic reforms in the country.

This phenomenon, coupled with non-recruitment of staff, has forced the bank officers movement to fight for regulated working hours, he added.
