Emmvee in pact with Danish co

The city-based Emmvee Solar Systems has entered into a joint venture with SolarCap, a leading Danish company, for the manufacture of solar heater for the industrial users such as food processing and textiles. Emmvee Solar, which produces and markets its solar heaters under brand name Solarizer, plans to launch its product in the next six months.

Mr G. Rangaswamy, Director (Marketing), told Business Line that the Danish company would be taking 50 per cent stake and give its technology to make solar heaters for several thermal applications for industrial sector.He declined to give the details about the equity amount. He said there was a great potential for solar thermal applications in dairy, sericulture and even in pharma industry.
