Disney India MD puts in his papers

New Delhi, March 27

The Walt Disney India's Managing Director, Mr Rajat Jain, has put in his papers after three years with the media company. "Mr Rajat came in at the very start and has laid a strong foundation for growth for The Walt Disney Company in India.

We would like to thank Rajat for his role in establishing the business to where it is today, and wish him well in his future endeavours," said Mr Andy Bird, President of Walt Disney International, in an official release from Disney. According to Mr Bird, the growth of the Disney brand in India is a key priority for the company. A new managing director for India is yet to be chosen.
