Mergers & Acquisitions Adea Solutions buys CVR Consulting Our Bureau
Bangalore March 27 Dallas-based Adea Solutions announced the acquisition CVR Consulting, a SAP services provider for an undisclosed amount on Tuesday. CVR Consulting, also a Dallas-based entity, is a major player in the public sector space in the US. Adea Solutions is an IT solutions and services company with over 1,100 team members in six countries. The Adea Chairman, Mr Abid Abedi, told reporters here that the company would continue to expand its presence in the public sector space by diversifying its client base and SAP coverage in functional and technical areas. Adea has set up a delivery centre in Dallas to serve clients in the East Coast as well as Government clients in the mid-western states of the US. Mr Shouvik Bhattacharyya, CEO, said, "Adea will expand its SAP services in the commercial sector, by leveraging its existing client base, and then expand to new clients and industries." The company's delivery centre in China is scheduled to start operations in the second quarter of the current calendar year, he added. In India, Adea has development centres in Bangalore and Hyderabad.
