ASL raises stake in Andhra Petro

Hyderabad, March 27

Andhra Sugars Ltd (ASL) has purchased 1,73,638 equity shares amounting to 0.20 per cent of the total shareholding of the Tanuku-based Andhra Petrochemicals Ltd (APL). ASL is a co-promoter of APL.

After purchase of the above shares, ASL's total shareholding in the company has increased from 2,22,40,268 equity shares (26.17 per cent) to 2,24,13,906 equity shares (26.37 per cent), according to a communication from APL to the BSE.
