Manipal Education Group has rolled out a host of vocational training courses for industries facing a severe talent crunch. These are certificate and diploma programmes in the areas of retail, banking, telecom, IT, infrastructure, BPO and media. In phase I of the launch, these courses would be conducted from about 20 learning centres of MEG in six cities (the four metros, Bangalore and Hyderabad).

The programmes have been designed with inputs from industry leaders in the sectors and up to 70 per cent of the training time would be spent in practical instruction. The course duration will vary between 45 days and one year, depending on the need of the industry.
