Mumbai March 31 The show was about to begin. All who eagerly entered the hall were at their pretty best. Blending into the mood, journalists were trying to make sense of the plethora of funky press kits.

As they browsed their busy eyes through the pouring crowd, the scenario was changing kaleidoscopically, with each one attempting to spot VIPs.

At on corner there was commotion — possibly a disagreement between a photographer and an organiser, over shooting of celebrities.

International faces had put on their business looks and some busy with their blackberries.

Then, suddenly, the lights faded out to suggest the beginning of the show. It was the `Aza Gen Next Show', a compilation of over half a dozen new entrants to the fashion week. Fashion industry specialists quietly ogled at each other's notes.

Agreement over the presentation of the designers through the medium of models was through simple head nods, while swaying them up and down the ramp.

The general public tapped away to sounds right from the one made out of bottle opener clinging to the bottles set in a row to gun shots all the way to the intense composition of Mozart.

Creativity was the centre of all attractions showcased through painted black tiffin's (daba's) and cycle bells and a bunch of bob pins to go with the designer outfits.

The crowd consisted of a generous amount of the female species with a good sprinkling of males.

Layout of the hall was simply a pair of mountains made up of spectators with the valley of designers.

The show ended with a ramp-march of the group of designers accompanied by their models.
