Human Resources New promotion policy Our Bureau
According to Mr P.P. Mohanan, State Vice-President of General Insurance Officers All India Association (GIOAIA), it is for the first time that such a written test is being conducted for officers' promotion. He said that the test would be conducted at the four metros and eligible officers could opt for the examination centre according to their respective tariff zone. In addition to the marks scored in the written test, weightage will be given to insurance-related qualification, work record and seniority, while deciding on the promotion. For senior posts, interview would be held as in the past, he added.
