Thiruvananthapuram, April 1

The second international conference on `Kerala in the Global Economy' will be held at Technopark Thiruvananthapuram on April 2 and April 3. Organised by the Asian School of Business, Stanford Centre for International Development and Kerala Global Support Network, the event seeks to build on the discussions of the first such conference held in December 2005, a press note said.

The conference, which will include participants from the academic world, industry and government, will explore avenues to transform Kerala. An eminent group of speakers will address the conference and participate in the deliberations, the release added.
