Midhani turnover up

Hyderabad April 2 Mishra Dhatu Nigam Ltd (Midhani) has achieved an all time high sales turnover of Rs 191.22 crore and a profit before tax of Rs 27.22 crore for the financial year 2006-07.

For the fiscal 2005-06, the company's sales turnover was Rs 151.4 crore, net of Rs 11 crore and order book of Rs 294 crore. The defence public sector undertaking has orders valued at Rs 598 crore at the end of the current fiscal, of which orders worth Rs 500 crore were booked during the year. According to the provisional results announced by the Chairman and Managing Director, Mr M. Narayana Rao, the company has more than doubled its sales turnover from Rs 91.35 crore achieved in 2002-03.
