Mumbai April 2 Prudential ICICI Mutual Fund has been renamed ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, with effect from Monday.

The change in name reflects the change in the shareholding pattern of ICICI Bank and Prudential Plc in the asset management company and the trust company.

The names of the AMC and trust company have also been changed to ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Ltd and ICICI Prudential Trust Ltd.

"The name change only reflects the change in the shareholding pattern of ICICI Bank and Prudential Plc. There are no changes in the management, operations of individual roles," said the Managing Director, Mr Pankaj Razdan, in a press release.
