Our Bureau

Kochi, April 3

The Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has sent fax messages to the Chief Minister and the Transport Minister requesting their immediate intervention to settle issues amicably and to restore normalcy in lorry operations in the State. The strike, if allowed to continue, will create scarcity condition in the case of daily necessities besides paralysing the movement of cash crops items to upcountry markets.
