The objective of the show is to exhibit the prowess of the IAF to the citizens of the district. The show is also aimed at motivating the youth to join IAF. This is the first time in the history of Mangalore that such an event is being organised, he said.

The show will be held in two sessions at Panambur Beach in Mangalore. The first session will be held between 8.15 am and 8.45 am, and the second session between 3.30 pm and 4 pm. All aircraft will takeoff from the airport at Bajpe near Mangalore.

Mr Rao said that SKAT is one of the three renowned nine aircraft aerobatic teams in the world. Wing Commander Sandeep Bansal is the Commanding Officer of the team consisting of 27 officers and 95 other personnel.
