Airtel 'booster pack' schemes

Chennai, April 4

Airtel has introduced "booster pack" schemes, for prepaid customers in Chennai and Tamil Nadu telecom circles, according to a press release. All recharge coupons associated with the schemes are valid for 30 days.

The schemes include features such as Airtel to Airtel calls starting at 10 paise a minute (Rs 97 recharge) and calls to other mobile phones starting at 49 paise a minute (Rs 36 recharge). A landline booster pack will charge 59 paise a minute for all local landline calls with a recharge of Rs 59.
