Our Bureau

Thiruvananthapuram April 5 The Technopark-based Seaview Support Systems has entered into new contracts with Dscribe of the UK.

The contracts envisage an increase in the volume of Seaview's healthcare documentation services and also bring new areas of healthcare solutions in its ambit. Dscribe's outsourcing volumes to Seaview will double in the next two months and is expected to grow further in controlled phases over the next few years. According to Mr Raju Harilal, Chief Executive Officer of Seaview, the company will be able to generate more employment opportunities over the next few months.

Entering new areas

Seaview, which has its core business areas in the field of medical research, business and legal transcription, including software development in related areas, will shortly enter the field of medical billing and teleradiology in association with Dscribe. Teleradiology is a new field in the rapidly increasing outsourcing domain whereby X-rays and medical imaging reports are sent through digital transmission for analysis and reporting, Mr Harilal said.

Seaview, which started operations in 1996, has recently completed a 70,000-sq.ft. production facility.
