CEOs' forum to discuss Coimbatore biz issues

Our Bureau

Coimbatore April 6 Coimbatore Development Ventures (CDV), a management consultancy firm formed with a view to specialising in the area of promotion of investment culture in the city, has proposed to hold a chief executive officers' meet, CEOs Forum 2007, here on April 20.

The meet will be attended by the Union Minister of State for Finance, Mr S.S. Palanimanickam, according to a communication from CDV.

With globalisation posing many challenges, doing business by local industry will no more be the same and there is a need for a forum to deliberate on issues that are both favourable or impending to the region's industrial growth. It is in this regard, the CDV has chosen to organise the CEO's forum 2007 in partnership with the key industrial and trade bodies in Coimbatore, said Mr S. Kannan, Director of CDV.

The organisers has extended invitations to all the industrial/trade associations seeking nominations of two of their office-bearers to be present on the April 20.
