Centurion Bank hikes PLR

Mumbai, April 9

Centurion Bank of Punjab has hiked its prime lending rates by 50 basis points to 15 per cent per annum, effective April 10. "In recent months, we have witnessed fiscal and monetary measures from the government and the central bank to control inflation. Over time, these measures will have the desired impact on inflationary trends and credit growth to sensitive sectors,'' Ms Tarini Vaidya, Country Treasurer, Centurion Bank of Punjab, said in a press release by the bank.
