Power for Mumbai

One of the main thrusts in the effort to make Mumbai like Shanghai is to ensure reliable and adequate power supply.

The Maharashtra Government should install the maximum possible number of windmills on the Western Ghat ranges, as in the Netherlands to generate maximum electricity, not only for, and in the interest of, Mumbai but also the whole of the State. Windmills are also much safer than nuclear energy.

The next most urgent work is to repair and maintain streets and lanes all over the city as well as the main roads, highways and expressways.
