US trade team to visit Kolkata

Kolkata, April 11

The US Trade Representative Ambassador, Ms Susan C. Schwab, will lead a high-level delegation to Kolkata on April 14 to assess key trade issues in the India's eastern region, according to a press release issued by the American Centre here. During her day-long visit, she will meet the West Bengal Chief Minister, Mr Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, visit PepsiCo/Frito-Lay plant in Howrah and talk to local potato suppliers. She will also visit a small-scale unit, the press release adds.
