Tanla Mobile forays into Ireland

Tanla Solutions Ltd has announced that Tanla Mobile, a mobile application development unit, has expanded its operations into Ireland and signed revenue sharing agreements for mobile payments and messaging with Irish mobile operators including 3, O2, Meteor and Vodafone.

The new partnerships, according to a statement to BSE, enable Tanla to offer its mobile services to Irish media companies, telecom service providers and brands seeking mobile marketing platforms. Mr Gautam Sabharwal, Director of Tanla Mobile, in a statement said "the Irish mobile market is one of the most advanced in Europe with penetration of 100 per cent. Moreover, the typical average revenue is high at around € 55 per month."
