The Hindu Business Line : Maya's animation training centre

Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC), an animation and visual effect institute, has set up its first training centre in Kozhikode to offer courses in computer graphics, animation and special effects. The centre has modern infrastructure facilities with well-equipped labs and a production-oriented learning environment, Mr Kingshuk Gupta, General Manager, Corporate Communication, and Ms Aruna Kumar, GM Operations (South), said. Kerala's vibrant business environment, IT infrastructure and large creative talent pool makes it an ideal location for animation industry. The animation training centre of MAAC will train and equip talent in Kerala and prepare them for global careers in animation, they said. MAAC has over 50 institutes in India, the UK, West Asia, Singapore and Nepal.
