Compugra plans $3-m expansion

Hyderabad, April 12

Compugra Systems Inc, a US-based technology solutions provider, has announced plans to invest $2-3 million (about Rs.9-13.5 crore) in expansion in India that would include setting up a centre in Hyderabad. The President of Compugra Systems, Mr Ram Vedantham, said the company revenues have grown from $3 million in 2004 to $12 million in 2006 and the company expects to close this year with total revenues of $20 million.

The company provides enterprise solutions, deployment of SAP and business intelligence tools for US-based corporations. The company plans to hire about 200 people in Hyderabad and is also negotiating with the State Government for setting up its own development centre.
