Technosoft Global to hire more

Chennai April 12 Technosoft Global Services (P) Ltd, subsidiary of the US-based Technosoft Corporation, is likely to have around 2,000 employees in Chennai by 2008 end. It currently has around 200 employees and would add another 300 by the year end, according to Mr Rajiv Tandon, CEO, Technosoft Corporation, a $50 million company provides services in the areas of software applications and business process outsourcing and IT consulting.

It opened its second development in Chennai and plans to invest this year around $5 million (Rs 22 crore) in the city on infrastructure, employees and training. It would add another facility in the city and have a large global development centre next year. The Chennai centres work in areas like SAP and software testing, Mr Tandon told newspersons.

Technosoft is a partner to companies like Google and Microsoft.
