Hyderabad April 12 Satyam Computer Services Ltd has partnered with iTKO, a US-based testing software company, to establish a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) testing practice within QEdge, Satyam's product and application testing practice. Together they will use iTKO's `LISA' testing technology to deliver SOA test planning and test execution services and specifically during enterprise SOA migration projects.
Manual Testing
Creation of an SOA Testing Practice reflects Satyam's recognition of the fact that about 80 per cent of the world's 500 largest companies are either undergoing SOA initiatives or planning them. Traditional manual testing and test coding methodologies and tools are not able to test SOA architectures and that reflects the need for such a practice. The Vice-President of Satyam Testing Practice, Mr Venkatesh Chillara, in a statement said: "Satyam is positioned ideally to provide enterprises with the expertise and tools to solve the complex quality challenges involved in integrating and maintaining SOA software."
