Andhra Bank hikes lending rate

Hyderabad, April 13

Andhra Bank has revised the Benchmark Prime Lending Rate (BMPLR) from the existing 12.25 per cent to 13per cent with effect from Friday.

The upward revision in BMPLR is not applicable for housing loans up to Rs 15 lakh under priority sector and education loans up to Rs 4 lakh (both existing and new), according to a press release.
