HP StorageWorks division has launched three new storage offerings - a disk-based backup and recovery system, StorageWorks MSL8096 Tape Library and StorageWorks 1200 All-in-One Storage System.

The D2D Backup System automates and centralises backup to provide reliable data protection for up to four servers in a single, secure, self-managing device. It integrates into existing network-based IT environments and can be configured and managed in three intuitive steps. The MSL8096 Tape Library features browser-based remote management, and so can be managed from across the room, or across the globe. The new AiO1200 offers increased storage density in a 2U form factor.
