The article "Reverse mortgages sans reverses" (Business Line, April 14) was well-written and dwelt on the various housing finance measures favouring senior citizens envisaged by the Finance Minister, Mr P. Chidambaram, in his latest Budget. The article has clearly spelt out is both the social and technical aspects of the move that could greatly benefit senior citizens who own residential property but are short of liquid cash.

The article makes an in-depth anlaysis of a welcome fiscal measure.
