Kottayam, April 16

A tourist festival is being organised on the lawns of KTDC Hotel at Kumarakom from April 20 to 22 under the joint auspices of Kumarakom Tourist Society and Kumarakom Village Panchayat with the cooperation of Kottayam district panchayat, Aymanam village panchayat and Chamber of Vembanad Hotels and Resorts. The Agriculture Minister, Mr Mullakkara Ratnakaran, will inaugurate the festival. The Home and Tourism Minister, Mr Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, will attend the valedictory session, said Mr V.N. Vasavan, MLA and patron of the festival.
