The local officials of WWICS would work with the State Government on the modalities of offering bridge courses, he said, adding, "Since November 2006, the norms for issuing visas to skilled workers had been relaxed by Canada and in 2007, over one lakh visas for skilled workers would be issued." Mr Curtis Panke, Director (Global Operations), Global Placement Services, said the Canadian economy was expanding at a phenomenal rate.
