The annual Eastern India Energy Summit will be held from tomorrow to discuss a suitable energy substitute for petroleum. The summit is being organised by the Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Indian Energy Forum (IEF). The IEF President, Mr P.S. Bami, said the theme would be `Petroleum and Beyond - Fuel Options.' The summit will also consider issues pertaining to oil and gas, which will continue to be the major source of energy in the foreseeable future.
