Marvel focuses on super luxury flats

Our Bureau

Pune April 16 Pune-based builders Marvel Realtors and Developers Ltd are concentrating on setting up super luxury apartments. They are currently constructing 1,400 flats valued at over Rs 2,000 crore in and around Pune.

The company, which recently made a mark in the industry when it crossed the `Rs 4 crore per apartment' barrier, has completed five super luxury projects while 12 others, worth a developmental potential of 4.4 million sq feet, are at different levels of execution, Mr Vishwajeet Jhavar, the company's Chief Executive Officer said. All the apartments, that vary in size from 1,500 sq ft to 7,000 sq ft, are outfitted with home automation systems from European Installation Bus Germany. The system enables owners to control everything from lights, curtains and security systems and operate appliances like microwaves, air conditioners and geysers through landlines and mobile phones (including via SMS).

The company is considering introducing IP-addressed cameras to enable the residents to see what is happening within their flats through the Net from anywhere in the world, Mr Jhavar explained.
