BHEL records Rs 2,510-cr turnover

New Delhi April 16 Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) achieved a record turnover of Rs 2,510 crore through commercialisation of products and systems developed by way of in-house research and development (R&D) efforts during the last fiscal.

The turnover through commercialisation of its in-house R&D products is almost 14 per cent of the total turnover of Rs 18,702 crore during 2006-07, BHEL said in a statement.
