NO TAKERS?: Tomatoes dumped on the road near Chintamani near Bangalore by the farmers. The growers resorted to such a measure as tomato prices have declined sharply. Tomato prices have slid to Rs 100 a quintal in wholesale markets. At the retail level, the prices have declined to Rs 5 a kg. The drop is in view of a production glut.
