Kolkata, April 18

The Chamber of Textile Trade and Industry (COTTI) will organise Tex Vision 2007, the first-ever exhibition on textile trade and industry in the State, from April 24 at the Netaji Indoor Stadium. The three-day event would also be "the first-ever platform of its kind and scale for textiles in eastern India," according to Mr Murari Lal Khaitan, President, COTTI.

The exhibition, besides showcasing the textile potential of the region, will focus on new opportunities for this sector at the national and international levels. The fair would be inaugurated by Mr Shankar Sinh Vaghela, Union Textile Minister.
