Hindustan Copper Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 310.46 crore and a sales turnover of about Rs 1,803 crore for the financial year 2006-07. It has registered 71 per cent growth in its sales turnover and 193 per cent growth in its net profit over the previous year. Higher output from the captive mines significantly contributed to higher profitability.
