Advanta India enters NSE with 3.9% premium

Mumbai April 19 The stock of Advanta India Ltd, an international agronomic seed company, made its debut on the NSE at Rs 665 at a premium of 3.9 per cent over its offer price of Rs 640. The stock peaked at Rs 1,000 and touched an intra-day low at Rs 585.35 before settling at Rs 845.50.

A total of 68,36,148 shares exchanged hands on the NSE.

On the BSE, the stock opened at the offer price of Rs 640, witnessed an intra-day high at Rs 992.90 and a low at Rs 591. It closed at Rs 850.05. The total traded quantity of shares was 58,85,749 shares.

The company entered the bourses with over 1.68 crore equity shares of Rs 10 each fully paid-up.

The proceeds of the issue would be utilised to invest in the company's subsidiary Advanta Holdings BV for working capital requirements and general corporate purposes.
