Anil Singhvi may quit Guj Ambuja

Mumbai, April 19

Mr Anil Singhvi, Managing Director of Gujarat Ambuja Cements Ltd, and one of the highest paid Chief Executive Officers in the country, is believed to be quitting the company. Mr Singhvi has decided to lead a venture of his own, said sources. Mr Singhvi, who has seen GACL grow to where it is right from its early days, is also believed to be the chief architect of the Gujarat Ambuja-Holcim deal.
