The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister, the Finance Minister, Mr P. Chidambaram, and the Planning Commission Deputy Chairman, Mr Montek Singh Ahluwalia. The secretaries in the Ministries of Steel and Mines were also present. The Orissa Chief Minister, Mr Naveen Patnaik, and the State Chief Secretary were present as well.
