Nasscom chief to address BL Club valedictory

Mr T. Lakshmi Narayanan, Vice-Chairman, Cognizant Technology Solutions, and Chairman, Nasscom, will deliver the keynote address on `Innovation and current trends in information technology' at the valedictory function of the Business Line Club, to be held at the SRM University campus on Wednesday.
Prof. P. Sathyanarayanan, Vice-Chancellor, SRM University, will preside over the event.
Around 1,000 students from different disciplines in engineering as well as from the management school are expected to attend the valedictory, which also marks the 75th and concluding event of the BL Club lecture series for this academic year.
The BL Club lecture series held across almost 70 colleges in and around Chennai city over the academic year 2006-07 provided an interface between academia and the corporate world where students could learn first-hand on corporate life from industry experts as well as interact with them.
Over 25,000 students from different disciplines such as engineering, management, as well as students pursuing their B.Com degrees, participated in this lecture series, which also featured a post-Budget analysis by industry experts for the benefit of students.
