GOING CHEAP: Tomatoes kept in cartons of 40 kg for sale at Thuvarankurichi market in Tiruchi, Tamil Nadu. Tomato prices have declined to 50 paise a kg on heavy arrivals and higher production. A similar situation prevails in other parts of the country too.
