Interim COO for Delhi airport

New Delhi April 26 Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL), the private sector joint venture company mandated to modernise and run the Delhi airport, is to have a new Chief Operating Officer.

In a statement DIAL has said that Mr Andrew Harrison is to takeover as interim Chief Operations Officer (COO) from Mr Ioannis Papastefanou, the current COO, on April 30.

"Mr Papastefanou has stepped down as COO, DIAL, due to personal reasons which necessitate his presence in his native, Athens," the statement adds.

Mr Papastefanou will, however, continue to provide his expertise as Advisor - Airport Operations to the GMR Airports business including Delhi International Airport Private Ltd and GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd, the statement has said.
