Bonus Announcements Corporate Results - Software 3i Info sets 1:1 bonus; net leaps 84% in Q4 Our Bureau
Mumbai April 26 3i Infotech has reported an 84 per cent rise in net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2007 at Rs 32.2 crore, against Rs 17.5 crore in the corresponding year ago quarter. Revenues from operations rose 75 per cent to Rs 210.2 crore (Rs 120 crore) . For the year ended March 2007, net profit increased by 80.6 per cent to Rs 103.7 crore (Rs 57.4 crore). Revenues from operations for the fiscal were at Rs 655.3 crore (Rs 417.8 crore). "Our software products business was the major driver of growth contributing about 51 per cent to our revenues," Mr. V. Srinivasan, Managing Director & CEO, said. The company has announced a bonus issue of 1:1. It has also recommended a dividend of Rs 2 per share of face value Rs 10 each (20 per cent) for fiscal 2007. For 2007-08, it expects revenues to be in the range of Rs 1,000-1,100 crore. On Thursday, the company's scrip rose by 2.47 per cent to end at Rs 292 on the BSE.
