MDLR Air begins operations

New Delhi, April 27

The Gurgaon-based MDLR Airlines has started daily flights on the Delhi-Chandigarh-Delhi sector from today. In a statement, the airline has said that the operations have been launched with a four engine BAE Avro 70 jet. "The airline plans to expand its network to connect with Ranchi and Kolkata within the month. Plans are also on to launch services to other parts of the country, including Mumbai, Surat, Jaipur, Bhavnagar and a few more northern Indian cities in the next few months," an airline spokesman said. The airline that currently has two aircraft plans to double its fleet by the end of the year.
